I just had issues with my email. I just bought a new mac and I had my gmail account synchronized with mac mail. All of a sudden I had 1400+ emails from several months back. I couldn't permanently delete these emails in the gmail 'all mail' folder. Each time I deleted them they would 'mysteriously' return. Then I discovered that if I sign into my gmail account I can delete them there. Unfortunalely, this scenario is going to repeat itself so I am destined to either not use mac mail and sign in to gmail daily for email activity or use mac mail and weekly sign in to gmail and delete the emails I don't want or need. When I delete mail on gmail.com, it's finally showing in mac mail in the trash can. BUT not under mac mail in regular section. It's showing in the bottom gmail section only. When I delete mail from mac mail, it immediately reappears! This happen in both my regular admin account and a 'test' account/login to my mac.
